Tinley Park Community Church

Tinley Park Community Church invites you to consider a Congregational Christian Church if you are looking for a change, affiliate with a church, or experience church once again. Our Pilgrim forefathers, who came here on the Mayflower in 1620, were Congregationalists – the very first Christian assembly in America! Congregational churches are independent, not beholding to any hierarchy except Jesus Christ, even though we belong to a regional and national association of Christian Congregational Churches. We are truly an open-door church where all who believe in Christ’s good and guidance are welcome, regardless of denomination.

Come and enjoy our meaningful and uplifting 10:30 Sunday morning traditional service, where you can get away for an hour, or so, to renew perspective and feel better about yourselves and the world.  Your children can also enjoy a brief children’s sermon. Our pastor Rev. Richard Lindvall is an ordained Protestant minister who conducts services and supervises the spiritual aspects of the church. He also provides counseling when requested, officiates at weddings, baptisms, funerals, etc.

In addition to fulfilling the spiritual needs of our congregation and others, our church enjoys doing various activities and outreach endeavors throughout the year. We also sponsor Cub Pack, Boy, and Girl Scout troops who use our facility weekly as do several other community and religiously based groups. We also conduct a Wednesday night Bingo that is attended and enjoyed by many area residents. This is a nice, friendly and inexpensive night out which helps our small church financially.

We hope you will visit our small congregation, as we continue our journey to grow into a multi-generational church.

See you soon!
